Casandra “Cassie” Ventura has broken her silence on social media, marking her first public post since testifying against her former partner, Sean “Diddy” Combs.
On Thursday, the singer took to Instagram to share a lighthearted and relatable video about postpartum recovery, coinciding with her first post since giving birth to her third child.
The video, originally posted by the momswithplans Instagram account, shows a man dancing energetically to DJ Khaled’s Wild Thoughts in front of an enthusiastic crowd. Over the clip, text reads: “When your old self slowly starts coming out postpartum.”
Adding her own commentary, Ventura captioned the repost: “Factual. Little by little. lol.” Ventura and her husband, Alex Fine, are already parents to two daughters, Frankie Stone, 5, and Sunny Cinco, 4. The couple welcomed their first son on May 28, though they have not yet revealed his name.

Her return to social media comes just days after Combs was denied bail for the fifth time since his arrest. Federal Judge Arun Subramanian once again rejected the rapper’s release from the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, citing “risk of flight or danger” as the primary reason.
Combs is currently awaiting sentencing following his July 2 conviction on federal charges of transportation to engage in prostitution. Efforts to secure his release before sentencing have so far failed.
According to People magazine, individuals within Combs’ personal circle — but not his legal team — are attempting to obtain a presidential pardon on his behalf.
“People in Diddy’s world and orbit are reaching out to his administration for a pardon, but not his legal team,” a source close to the music mogul told People.

Combs’ attorney, Nicole Westmoreland, confirmed to CNN on August 5 that discussions regarding a pardon are underway. “It’s my understanding that we’ve reached out and had conversations in reference to a pardon,” Westmoreland stated, noting that sentencing is now less than two months away.
Combs is scheduled to be sentenced on October 3 and faces a potential prison term of up to 20 years if given the maximum penalty.
Ventura’s public reappearance adds a personal note to a highly charged legal saga, reminding fans that despite the intense media focus on Combs’ trial, she is navigating her own life changes — including the joy and challenges of welcoming a new child.
