‘The View’ Hosts Slam Trump Over AOC Feud During Global Crisis

The hosts of The View took sharp aim at President Donald Trump during the June 25 episode, blasting his online attacks on Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) as inappropriate and juvenile, particularly in the midst of a high-stakes international conflict.

According to OK! Magazine, the co-hosts criticized Trump for launching a personal social media tirade against Ocasio-Cortez while en route to a NATO meeting aboard Air Force One. They accused him of displaying “teenage girl” behavior and harboring a deep discomfort with powerful women.

Joy Behar introduced the topic with a mix of humor and disbelief, telling viewers, “He went on a late-night social media rant calling her one of the dumbest people in Congress and demanded she take the cognitive test he claimed to have aced.”

Ana Navarro echoed Behar’s sentiments with frustration. “I think it is koo-koo crazy, taco loco, for Donald Trump,” she said. “In the middle of military action against Iran, trying to get Iran and Israel to the table for a peace treaty… he’s picking a Twitter fight like a teenage girl with AOC.”

Behar added a sharper jab: “He really doesn’t like strong women. He likes obedient, dutiful women who complement him. This type of woman really gets under his skin.” The escalating feud began after Ocasio-Cortez publicly condemned Trump’s decision to unilaterally bomb Iranian nuclear facilities, calling it a “grave violation of the Constitution and congressional war powers.”

Trump retaliated on Truth Social, branding her “one of the dumbest people in Congress” and mocking her academic background, even coining the nickname “The Mouse.” Ocasio-Cortez fired back on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “Mr President, don’t take your anger out on me. I’m just a silly girl. Take it out on whoever convinced you to betray the American people and our Constitution.” She concluded the tweet with a pointed jab: “It only took you five months to break almost every promise you made.”

The feud took another turn when New York state lawmaker Matt Slater entered the fray, questioning Ocasio-Cortez’s self-described identity as a “Bronx girl.” Slater posted a photo of her from her time at suburban Yorktown High School, writing, “@AOC if you’re a BX girl, then why are you in my Yorktown yearbook? Give it up already.”

Speaking to Fox News Digital, Slater elaborated, “When I saw the tweet making her out to be this tough Bronx girl, I’d just had enough. I literally just reached behind me and grabbed my yearbook, clicked the photos, and said: ‘Listen, enough is enough.’” With tensions flaring online and in the media, the war of words between Trump and AOC continues to draw national attention, even as international crises unfold.
