Meghan Markle may be considering expanding her family with Prince Harry, according to psychologist Stefan Walters, who believes the Duchess of Sussex’s recent comments about motherhood could be a subtle sign she is feeling broody.
Speaking to OK! magazine, Walters analyzed Meghan’s increasingly candid reflections on parenting, particularly her remarks made on her Confessions of a Female Founder podcast. He suggested that her openness may indicate a longing to revisit the early stages of motherhood.
“Women often romanticize and enjoy that stage of pregnancy and having a newborn baby,” Walters explained. “They want to really share that with the world at large because it can be such a unique and beautiful time.”
He added, “I think she’s probably experiencing that as well—feeling broody and going through those feelings as she makes sense of it all and shares it with the world while trying to have a voice.”
The psychologist’s remarks follow Meghan’s recent reflections on the intense journey of parenting her two children—Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3. Speaking honestly on her podcast, Meghan shared the emotional and physical demands of raising young children.
“People forget that Lili is three, and Archie is five,” she said. “So you look at the past five, six years of my life, it’s yes, with being pregnant or with a newborn or with a toddler, and then another one.”
