Caitlyn Jenner Hints at Political Comeback with Bold Challenge to Kamala Harris

Caitlyn Jenner has reignited political chatter with bold claims about her potential to take on Vice President Kamala Harris in a future race. On Monday, November 25, Jenner addressed speculation about her political ambitions, posting on X (formerly Twitter), “If I ran, and it was ultimately against Harris, I would destroy her.”

Jenner’s political experience is limited, but she first entered the California political arena during the 2021 recall election against Governor Gavin Newsom. That bid ended in disappointment, with Jenner securing only 1% of the vote. Despite this, she remains undeterred, hinting at a possible run in 2026. “Should we do it again?” she teased on X. “Have been getting a lot of calls with a lot of strong opinions. Newscum is out in 2026.”

Her remarks come as Vice President Harris faces speculation about her own political future. Reports suggest Harris may be considering a gubernatorial campaign in California or even a presidential run in 2028, adding intrigue to Jenner’s comments.

Jenner’s alignment with the MAGA agenda has often made headlines, particularly for her controversial views on transgender rights. A transgender woman herself, Jenner has drawn criticism from LGBTQ+ activists for opposing trans women in women’s sports and advocating against medical transitioning for minors. These stances have alienated some in the LGBTQ+ community but resonated with certain conservative audiences.

Earlier this month, Jenner announced she was returning her 2016 Woman of the Year award, citing concerns raised by families over her receiving the honor. “It has become clear, in speaking with many families, men and women, the distraught nature this acceptance of the award still brings them today,” Jenner wrote on X. “I can no longer, in good faith, hold onto this award.”

Jenner’s political ambitions, however, remain speculative. When pressed for clarification about her 2026 plans, a spokesperson for Donald Trump neither confirmed nor denied any discussions about endorsements or alignments, stating only that “no decisions on this issue have been made,” according to Queerty.

As speculation grows, Jenner’s potential candidacy highlights her ongoing efforts to position herself as a polarizing figure in California politics—one unafraid to take on high-profile opponents like Harris. Whether this marks a serious campaign effort or merely political posturing remains to be seen.
