Porsche is offering an exclusive version of their Panamera, titled ‘The Platinum Edition. This model gets it’s name due to the elegance of the design features being finished in a platinum silver metallic combination. This model like the Panamera is available in both rear wheel drive and all wheel drive. The car comes in five exterior colors black, white, Basalt Black metallic, Carbon Grey metallic or Mahogany metallic. All these colors work harmoniously with the platinum colored detailing on the design features such as the lower half of the side view mirrors and the rear diffuser. The Platinum Edition combines some of the most popular optional features from the Panamera model and makes it standard equipment.

The interior holds it’s own against the sleek exterior, with A new black/Luxor beige two-tone colour combination, exclusive to the Platinum Edition. This model also includes enhance infotainment features, such as a Bose audio package, a 7 inch TFT touchscreen and a Porsche Communication Management with navigation module. Riding in with a SportDesign steering wheel, it flaunts Porsche crest on the headrests as well as exclusive Platinum Edition decorative trim strips on the front door sills.

Don’t be fooled by all the design details, this model is not just a pretty face. With a 6 cylinder engine and 300hp the Platinum Edition does not compromise on the engine. The car has a top track speed of 160 mph and goes from 0 to 60 on 6 seconds. Available in Jan 2013 the MSRP is $80,500.
