Rumors and sneak peeks have followed the Lamborghini Veneno around since the car was first announced. The official unveiling finally took place at the Geneva motor show yesterday; the car surpasses every possible rumor.
The Veneno is the perfect car for to celebrate the 50th anniversary of a company that once made tractors. As expected the Veneno is the name of one of the strongest and most aggressive fighting bulls ever.
The hyper car has been based on the basic shape of the Aventador, however a number of features have been changed not the least of which are the addition of numerous scoops, wings and fins. The car has been wrapped almost completely in a carbon fiber, which keeps the weight on this super car down and helps increase it’s speed to a barely street legal 220 mph and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds.
The 750 horsepower is created by a seven-speed transmission with 5 different driving modes. At first look, the car looks like pure power and weight, however look closer and you will see a design that is aerodynamically sound and uses carbon fiber to create a lightweight frame that matches a racecar.
This Lamborghini Veneno hyper car has been limited to only 3 models in either green, red or white, all of which have been sold at an incredible $3.9 million dollars. The images of the metallic grey Veneno accentuated with Italian flag colors accents are of the brand’s test vehicle. – Luxurylaunches
