With a stylish yet powerful design, the Audi R8 is one of the most sought after cars in the world. China with it’s growing population and rising economy has the exclusive title of world’s largest auto market.
Which is why Audi brought the R8 to China with an exclusive Chinese edition. Now Audi is expanding this market further by adding a new limited edition R8 2013.
The 2013 Audi R8 China Limited Edition Coupe will be limited to a mere 30 pieces, We’ll be surprised if the line isn’t sold out before it’s even finished. The car sports a Nordic gold color on the exterior, which associates the R8 coupe with the likes of Thor and Odin.
The exterior is finished with matte black tailpipes and the front and rear slats in matte titanium grey. The trademark single frame radiator grille is also in matte black, with the surrounding bars in titanium grey.
Most cars do not use carbon fiber because it cannot be extruded like metal, however this Audi R8 has managed to use it to form the front spoiler, flics, side blades, exterior mirrors, fixed rear wing and enlarged diffuser. 19” titanium wheels with 5 twin spoke in a “Y” design finish of the incredibly stylish look of this car.
Equipped with a lightweight 5.2L V10 mid-engine, quattro permanent four-wheel drive with rear-biased setup, the 2013 Audi R8 China Limited Edition Coupe can acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) within 3.9 secs.
Also the cars will sport aluminum gear knob with limited edition number, however the collection will be numbered from 1 up to 33 without number 4, 14 and 24.
