Keeping her husband by her side at all times, she told the crowd of her love for her handsome sportsman as she accepted the prestigious gong just two days after he was involved in a car crash.

She said: ‘Wow, thank-you. I am so so proud to be British and incredibly proud to have built my brand in the UK. I want to thank my team. I love you all so much and this is for all of you.Victoria_and_David_Beckham_2014_British_Fashion_Awards_4

Victoria looked lovely yet low-key in a black and white maxi skirt from her own eponymous collection, with a black jumper and a silver chain belt, while her husband opted for a smart suit by Dior. As she showed off her back for photographs, a key hole detail in her jumper revealed a cool chain detail and showed off her trademark back tattoo. Once inside the venue, at the drinks reception the couple caught up with US Vogue Editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and her daughter, Bee Shaffer.

Victoria wore her dark brunette locks up in an elegant chignon and her barely there make-up complemented her dressed down look.

She accessorised with a yellow diamond ring but refrained from wearing her usual earrings on the night. The outing comes after David’s car was involved in a collision when picking his son Brooklyn up from football training. While he and his eldest son remained unhurt thankfully, the car was unable to be driven.
