The 38-year-old soccer legend is retiring from the sport after a two-decade career, he announced on Thursday. “I’m thankful to PSG for giving me the opportunity to continue but I feel now is the right time to finish my career, playing at the highest level,” David wrote in a post on his Facebook page. “If you had told me as a young boy I would have played for and won trophies with my boyhood club Manchester United, proudly captained and played for my country over one hundred times and lined up for some of the biggest clubs in the world, I would have told you it was a fantasy. I’m fortunate to have realised those dreams.”

The athlete thanked his teammates, parents, managers and fans, as well as his famous wife, Victoria Beckham. “I wouldn’t have achieved what I have done today without my family… I owe everything to Victoria and the kids, who have given me the inspiration and support to play at the highest level for such a long period,” he wrote.

David – who has three sons and one daughter with Victoria — said he plans to stay very active following his retirement and is looking forward to having more time to devote to new projects. “Nothing will ever completely replace playing the game I love, however I feel like I’m starting a new adventure and I’m genuinely excited about what lies ahead,” he wrote. “I’m fortunate to have been given many opportunities throughout my career and now I feel it’s my time to give back.”

Julia and Jack then become partner and work together on their mission and so they saved humanity through their hard struggle. Movie “Oblivion” makes its characters feel real. The sounds effects of the movie are great and the score of Oblivion was composed by M83 which is a superb French electronic outfit. Jennifer Lopez was rushed to safety after gunshots were fired near where she was filming a music video. Security guards took the singer to a vehicle after hearing several gunshots about 400 yards from where she was filming on Sunday night in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Police converged on the area, but the people involved in the shooting were not found, although police detained several people at the scene.

The 43-year-old singer was in Fort Lauderdale to shoot the music video for Live It Up, her upcoming collaboration with Pitbull. Lopez was filming an interview with Entertainment Tonight on the set of her music video when the shots were heard. ET’s Rob Marciano, who was interviewing the star, reported that ‘Security scrambled [Lopez] away’ after the shots rang out. He tweeted: ‘BREAKING: Gunshots fired on Fort Lauderdale Beach DURING my JLo interview. No kidding. Security scrambled her away.’

He added: ‘Can hear & see ambulances converging ~400 yards down the street.’ Before adding: ‘Police confirming: ‘shots fired. no one hit.’ Whew.’ Security officials said the star was secure in her vehicle when the incident was reported, but it’s bound to have brought back memories from the time she and then boyfriend P.Diddy were arrested over a shooting at a nightclub in New York in the late ’90s. Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife has been released from hospital. A source told that: “After Brooke sobered up on Friday, she was released from the involuntary psych hold because she was deemed to not be a danger to herself, or others, and her current whereabouts are unknown. “Brooke was encouraged by doctors at UCLA to get treatment for her drug addiction, but she refused. Under the law, she couldn’t be held any longer.”

Her family and friends are reportedly very concerned as they have not been able to contact her. An insider said: “(They) are sick with worry. Her cell phone is off, and Brooke hasn’t spoken to her family in several days.” The 35-year-old socialite’s four-year-old twins with Charlie, Max and Bob, are currently staying with his other ex-wife Denise Richards after she secured temporary custody of them on Thursday (02.05.13).

Jennifer Lawrence will receive the Down Syndrome of Louisville’s Friendship Award next week. The ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ actress will be lauded for her friendship with Louisville local Andy Strunk, who has Down Syndrome – a genetic disorder caused by the presence of all or part of a third copy of chromosome 21 – who she has known since middle school.

A spokesperson told E! News: ”Jennifer and Andy Strunk have been friends since their middle school days. Jennifer and Andy enjoy a loyal friendship of mutual encouragement and enjoy each other’s company. They text and speak on the phone quite frequently. Their families stay in close contact and continue a friendship too.

”Our members and staff of Down Syndrome of Louisville are so very proud of Jennifer for staying true to her Louisville hometown roots while she achieves global recognition for her craft as an artist. We are thrilled that Andy will present the Friendship Award to her family.”

I’ve worked hard to get in shape, and I’m going to continue. Not because being ‘skinny’ is important, but because I want to feel good.”

Katy Perry is caught up in a multi-million dollar lawsuit with haircare brand ghd, according to reports. Media reports that Jemella Group have, the company behind ghd, have asked courts to block Katy Perry’s team from filing a lawsuit after the singer claimed she is owed $2million. Katy earned $4.5million as an ambassador for the brand but the company wish to cut ties with her, the website reports.

The Fireworks singer’s camp are said to claim that Katy is owed an additional $2million, based on an oral agreement. Jemella are said to deny that an oral agreement was ever in place and it is claimed the company want to ditch Perry because she isn’t as popular in Europe as she used to be. Media reports that a representative for Katy said: ‘Jemella’s attempt to embarrass Ms. Perry by including defamatory statements about her in a public filing is shameful.’

And the website reports that Katy said: ‘They’re backing out of the deal because of an ownership change, and just throwing shade to hide their bad faith.’ Katy was names the global face of the brand in 2011 and at the time she spoke of her delight at the pairing. Rihanna’s tour buses were allegedly stopped and searched for drugs. The ‘Stay’ singer – who recently kicked off her ‘Diamonds’ world tour – was not on any of the buses when they were reportedly stopped at the border between Michigan and Canada but a “small amount” of marijuana was discovered on an unidentified passenger.

A law enforcement source told media that a total number of ten buses were stopped at the Ambassador Bridge, which separates Windsor, Canada and Detroit, and inspectors initiated a secondary bus-to-bus search after an officer smelt the drug on one of the buses. A sniffer dog was brought on board and detected drugs on one passenger, who was then searched and a small amount of marijuana was discovered.

He was reportedly cited with a civil penalty.

The 24-year-old star resumed her tour last Thursday (14.03.13) after being forced to cancel two shows in Boston and Baltimore after falling ill with laryngitis immediately after the first show of the tour in New York state and tweeted she was “embarrassed” about it. Rihanna wrote: “BOSTON this is the hardest thing for me to deal with! A New York federal judge ruled on Thursday (21.02.13) that Pitbull’s song, also featuring Ne-Yo and Afrojack, was protected by the US First Amendment, which covers freedom of speech and creative expression. Pitbull’s lawyer, Marcos Jimenez, told media: “This will further solidify the rights of artists to express themselves in song. Senior District Judge Denis R.
