Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman recently received unexpected news that brought new meaning to a significant day in his life. On Monday, June 26, which marked the fourth anniversary of his late wife Beth Chapman’s passing, Dog revealed via Instagram that he had learned he fathered a son named Jon, whose birthday coincides with that very day.

In his heartfelt post, the reality star, aged 70, shared a photo of Jon and his wife Jodi embracing with joy. Dog expressed gratitude for the newfound connection and hinted that he would delve deeper into Jon’s story in his upcoming memoir, “Nine Lives and Counting,” set to be released next year.

Beth, Dog’s wife of nearly 13 years, tragically passed away at the age of 51 in June 2019 after battling throat and lung cancer. Reflecting on the significance of Jon’s birthday and his late wife’s memory, Dog emphasized the message of redemption and restoration, offering his love and birthday wishes to his son and daughter-in-law.

With Jon, Dog now has a total of 14 children from his previous marriages and relationships. His journey as a father began during his teenage years when he welcomed his first child, son Christopher, with his ex-girlfriend Debbie White.

Subsequently, Dog had marriages and children with La Fonda Sue Darnell (sons Duane Lee II and Leeland), Ann Tegnell (sons Wesley and James Robert, and the late Zebadiah), and Lyssa Rae Brittain (daughters Barbara Katie and Lyssa Rae II, and son Tucker Dee). A dog also adopted Beth’s daughter Cecily from her previous marriage, and he and Beth shared two children together, Bonnie Joanne and Garry.

Following Beth’s passing, Dog entered into a whirlwind romance with Francie Frane, culminating in their marriage in September 2021. However, ahead of the wedding, Dog’s daughters Cecily and Bonnie revealed that they were not invited to the ceremony. Bonnie had previously accused her father of infidelity to Beth, but Dog denied the allegations, citing those claims as a reason for excluding Bonnie and Cecily from the event.

Dog expressed his concern for his daughters, claiming that they had associated with unfavorable individuals. Despite the family tension, Dog remains committed to moving forward and finding solace in the newfound bond with his son Jon, while keeping the memory of his late wife Beth close to his heart.
