On the penultimate night of the New York collections, the city was hopping. While some raced from the St. Regis, where Marchesa presented its collection, to Alexis Bittar’s presentation and Proenza Schouler’s show, others spent the evening celebrating with some of fashion’s most iconic figures.
Michael Kors hosted a bevy of beautiful gals including Kate Hudson, Allison Williams, and Lily Aldridge at his newly opened SoHo boutique; taking in the environment upstairs was Williams, who in a black and white dress with floral embroidery looked just a tad cold. “I loved all the coats,” she exclaimed, remembering the collection from her front row perch earlier in the day at Kors’s show, “and I was a sucker for the dresses.”
Adding a brighter note sartorially speaking, of course was Poppy Delevingne in a blossoming bouquet of a dress featuring daffodils; while Hudson looked streamlined in a jumpsuit. As guests including Jessica Hart, Ming Xi, and Tao Okamoto danced to tracks spun by Brendan Fallis, others got their street style moment captured by famed photographer Victor Demarchelier.
